This year’s Million Meal Spring Breakfast will have added flair as we celebrate OneGenAway’s 10th anniversary.
OneGenAway was officially established in 2013 by Chris and Elaine Whitney. Over the past decade, the nonprofit has pursued its vision of wiping hunger off the face of America, growing in its service capacity from 150,700 meals shared in its first full year, 2014, to just over 3 million meals in 2022!
This incredible growth would’ve been impossible without the community that has wrapped around this organization. We are so grateful to each and every person who has poured into OneGenAway, and we hope you will join us as we take a look back at the past 10 years and a look ahead to what the next 10 will bring.
Our 10th Anniversary Spring Breakfast will take place on Friday, May 12, from 7-8:15 a.m. at the Factory at Franklin’s Liberty Hall. This is a free breakfast event in support of OneGenAway’s mission of sharing hope, honor, and dignity through food.
Guests will hear from our founder and CEO, Chris Whitney, as well as our keynote speaker, Darren Whitehead, who is the lead and founding pastor of Church of the City.

WHEN: 7-8:15 a.m. on Friday, May 12 (Doors open at 6:30 a.m.)
WHERE: Liberty Hall in the Factory at Franklin, 230 Franklin Rd, Franklin, TN 37064
DETAILS: A short ceremony, in partnership with the Bay County Chamber of Commerce, will include words from our Founder and CEO, Chris Whitney, and our Florida Manager, Adrienne Pelletier. Drinks and refreshments will be served inside our warehouse after the ceremony.
